Adult Classes

This three session class  is for experienced artists and novices alike. This is an opportunity to draw from a live, nude model. This class is designed to focus on form, proportion, and gesture of the figure. There is an additional $5 model fee per class.

This five session class is an introduction to quilt making for beginning quilters. We will be constructing a small wall hanging or baby/lap quilt sized piece. The Anderson Center for the Arts has partnered with East Side Arts to bring you a two session workshop opportunity to work with ceramics. This course will be an introduction to the pottery wheel and basic techniques. Instructor Kameron Robinson will provide one on one instruction to help students understand and learn about the process.

Come paint your pet! Bring photos of your favorite pet or animal.  We will work with acrylic and watercolor and focus on texture and different ways to create fur. All painting levels will be challenged. A supply list is available or Diane can furnish them for you for $10 per week. This is a five session class.

This four session introductory course explores the art of bookbinding and book arts. A variety of techniques will be taught and each student will make several examples using different styles of binding. These objects make wonderful and thoughtful gifts for sketching and journaling.
