Outreach

The Anderson Museum of Art partners with various organizations to provide art educational opportunities to the community. Our current outreach projects and programs include the following:

Andersontown Powwow

During this event we offer a variety of children’s art activities that are both fun and educational, allowing children to learn and experience a variety of Native American cultures. The art projects are designed so that children will be able to learn about different Native American cultures and their traditions.

Madison County Youth Center

The purpose of this program is to help provide a positive experience and a passion for learning in the arts for the youth of the Madison County Youth Center. Our goal is to expose the youth to something new.

Senior Sessions with the Episcopal Retirement Homes

In partnership with the Episcopal Retirement Homes located at the downtown YMCA, we offer residents a chance to explore a variety of art techniques from painting to printmaking and much more.

Slumber at the Speedway
