Drawing Portraits

Applying the Loomis method, learn to create realistic and stylized portraits.  In this three session course you will learn how to understand the structures of the face and be able to draw a head and face at any angle. Pencil methods will be taught, including rendering and textures, half-toning, and learning to draw with erasers. You’re highly encouraged to bring your own supplies, and there will be “community” supplies available to share!  The instructor will also throw in some challenging lighting and poses to create dynamic portraits! There is a $10 supply fee payable to the instructor for provided materials at the beginning of the session.
