Winter Evening
Painting
Snowy, wooden path painted primarily in browns and whites. The snowy path runs down the center with tire tracks. There are three larger trees on the left and one on the right in the foreground. Behind them are many smaller, thinner trees. The path leads towards the horizon line and behind it are more hills and groupings of trees. Snow covers the entire ground.
It is signed in the lower left corner "Bryan Tarlton, 1942." Carved through rough frame, "Painted special for Chas. Peek, "Winter Evening" beech woods, Oil painting by Bryan Tarlton 1942."
