Serigraph on heavy-weight white paper with no visible watermark. Image is somewhat abstract, with the background suggesting hospital hallways, etc. It is composed of hard-edge angular shapes. There are three figures. The first is on the left side, and is a man standing with one leg and a crutch. The second is leaning in the doorwary with both arms outstretched, and his head is totally bandaged, with only one eye and mouth visible. Beyond this figure is a hospital bed, and behind this figure is a red cross in a white circle. This composes the center of the composition. The third figure is to the right, and is seated. He is also bandaged on his head, right arm and upper body, and a crutch is leaning next to him. The color scheme is limited to brown, ochre, and a gold-beige color with some violet and red. The print is numbered in pencil in the lower left corner "32/75" and is signed and dated in the lower right corner "N Monro (19) 70." On the verso is the inscription "Monro Hospital" appears in pencil in the lower right quadrant, also in the lower right quad. is a collector's or publisher's mark.
