Untitled (Man Hoeing Garden)
Print
The central image of rural farm setting with the house, outbuildings, and garden plot at the center of the picture. Imagery is heavily stylized; houses and surrounding buildings seem to lean and sway as if keeping rhythm with some mysterious unseen force.
The image on the left side is of two distinct kinds of trees, one is short and bush-like while the background tree is tall and stately. House and its surrounding are in the center of the picture. Man working in the garden is doing so in front of the house. On each side of the house are two telephone poles; the one on the left leans to the left and the one on the right leans right. There is a river or lake in the immediate background and in the distant background, there are tall mountains.
