In the foreground there are several small, shrubby trees, beginning at the left and extending in a nearly unbroken row to the right. Slightly right of the exact center there is a white house, barn, and grain silo standing at the top of a small ridge that extends from UL approx. 2/3 up from the bottom to LR approx. halfway along the axis. The scene appears to be basking in the daylight hours and there is a dark cloud in the distant sky.
