Katherine Ace

June 11, 2016 – August 25, 2016

Born in Chicago in 1953, Katherine Ace received a BA from Knox College in Illinois in 1975. After pursuing a wide variety of various jobs including: street portrait artist in New Orleans, a potter in Vermont, commissioned copyist, corporate portraitist, and many more, Ace moved to Oregon in 1990. Her interests rely in both figurative and still life painting. Her work plays with realism and is deeply involved with contraries and opposites.
