Damage
Painting
This is a life-size replica of the original. This painting was sold in an auction at Christie's in New York in 2004 or 2005.
Solid, flatly painted dark blue background on which the word "Damage" is painted. The letters begin green in the bottom and blend to yellow at the top. The letters "A" and "G" are painted as though on fire.
The original painting was a gift of The American Federation of Arts (41 E. 65th Street NY, NY 10021), and prior to selling the work at auction, this replica was made at The Anderson's request.
