In front of the house stands 3 or 4 trees heightened with white gouache. A light reddish wash is over the house, and a light greenish wash is in the foreground. Some very faint trees are noticeable in the far middle ground on the right side. The entire image is faded markedly. The work is signed on the bottom right corner in pencil, "C. A. Wheeler. (19)'02."
