Below are three family and 4th of July themed kits you may choose from. Projects were designed by local retired art teacher Jewel Morgan. Each kit includes all supplies, paper instructions, and a link to video instruction. You may purchase one, two, or all three kits. These kits can be picked up on Monday, June 29th from 11 am – 1 pm and 4 pm – 6:30 pm.
Kit #1: Fireworks Silhouette
Work together with your family to create this night themed project! Families will learn how to use a variety of materials such as salt, watercolor, and foam to create this fun mixed media painting. This project will take a day or two to complete.
Kit #2: Flag Tribute
Work together with your family to create this tribute to our flag! This project will require adult help. Families will be working with wood stain, sharpies, and paint so find some old clothes or an apron. Start thinking now of what you want your celebration message to be. What are you proud of? What do you love?
Kit #3: Yard Sign Quilt Painting
Work together with your family to create a beautiful yard sign barn quilt painting. Students will learn how to paint a straight edge and develop a patterned design. Sign and holder are included.
