The Anderson Museum of Art is seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to assist with events and facilities operations. This part-time role supports a variety of needs, including event setup and teardown, light maintenance, groundskeeping, building security, and support for creative experiences like our Splatter Box.
The ideal candidate is professional, respectful of the museum environment, and enjoys supporting community events and programs in a space dedicated to the arts.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with setup, operation, and cleanup of museum events and rentals

Provide building and grounds maintenance support

Operate basic tools and equipment

Assist with Splatter Box activities and guest experiences

Maintain a clean and safe environment indoors and outdoors

Provide security during evening/weekend events and rentals

Haul materials or supplies as needed (own truck preferred)
Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license
-
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs to a height of 48 inches

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Professional demeanor and respect for the museum setting

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently

Willingness to learn new skills and assist with a variety of tasks

Availability for occasional weekends and holidays

Preferably has access to a personal truck for transporting materials

Pay: $17/hour

Hours: 5–15 per week, depending on the season and event schedule

Flexible scheduling; evenings and weekends required at times
